As Mayor, and on behalf of the Board and the entire staff, let me welcome you to the official website of the Village of Ilion NY. I am extremely proud to represent the Village of Ilion, with all of its beauty, its progressive attitude and its rich history and I am proud to serve as its chief executive.
Our staff works hard to keep this site up to date and filled with meaningful information. If after viewing the site you have additional questions or need clarification on anything at all, give us a call at the village offices. Someone will be happy to assist you.
Thank you for visiting our website and please, check in frequently for updates.
Attention Village of Ilion Electric Users: Due to a transitioning to automated electric meter reading, it will be necessary to momentarily interrupt the electric service to your home or business.
This project will begin May 15th and continue until all meters in our system have been replaced. Unless you are a business or are on the special needs list, this will be the only notification you will receive of an interruption of service during the time frame noted above.
Commercial businesses will be notified in advance and efforts will be made to replace the meters at times that will not impact your ability to transact business.
Any questions, please contact the Municipal Office at 315-895-7449. We apologize for any inconvenience & appreciate your cooperation.
To all Village of Ilion residents;
It has been brought to the Village's attention that during recent windy weather conditions we have been experiencing, that recyclable materials are being blown around various neighborhoods when placed out for collection.
Please remain aware that recyclables are NOT to be placed in plastic bags due to having to remain loose when placed in the collection vehicle.
Recyclables also need to be placed in a container WITH A LID when placed to the curb on your collection night.
Thank you for your cooperation with this issue in keeping Ilion as clean as possible.
